Welcome to Klip House

The Klip House was originally built from stone and mud and later plastered.

Now that some alterations and renovations have been done, it is clear that substantial stacking of stone constituted the walls and was later more firmly secured with considerate surface plastering. Some of the walls are in excess of a half meter wide.

Having been fortunate to secure this property, the original Klip House has been restored, renovated and returned to pristine condition.

The Klip House will not be used as a residential property, but as a commercial and leisure enterprise.
  • A small upmarket restaurant My French Table will be established in the southern wing.
  • The existing lounge, with stone fire place, will become a colonial reading room/study.
